My Blog

Or rather, I should have just entitled this blog entry "Announcements". Sheesh, I just could not think of a better earth-shattering title for this first blog here in — dyarararat-rarat!!! — Friendster. As if titles are that easy to conjure now that I have other blog sites making the same title for my first posts there. First posts, believe me that’s plural as I will make a point on this later. Well anyway, I think "Announcements" is approapriate as a title because I could just first up some announcements… But then again this is my first blog here in — dyarararat-rarat!!! — Friendster, so there, this title was chosen.

But first, I would like to break some ice. I have really wanted to post this first blog just to make this announcement for some time now since blogging became available in — dyarararat-rarat!!! — Friendster. However, for some buggy reasons I was encountering errors in making this ever-sought first. Then one midnight, I tried to be persistent… Well, you’re reading this, guess the time of the moment I am writing this blog, and here it is: my first blog entry here in Friendster.

Setting that aside, the point of this first blog entry is that this will also be my last entry here in Friendster, God willing. I have so many blog sites now (hence the plurality of the term "first blogs" I mentioned earlier) that I could barely make my blog sites meet. I opened new accounts in other blogging portals driven by what started initially as an attempt to consider a potential secondary source of income. I mean, I already have just one blog site before I was enlightened by the financial potential of blogging. There I got to post everything that I felt at the moment, sort of an online diary, and I thought then that was enough.

But as I saw this potential later, I went like crazy just opening up other accounts. And now months later, constricted by the daily preoccupations of an average working peon without sacrificing the times spent on seeking God and technical proficiency certifications, I decided to lay low for a while. And I emphasize two phrases: laying low, and for a while. And that applies on those blogging sites I have, other than Friendster’s.

And that’s the unfortunate part, not posting anything blog thingy on Friendster. Well, not posting anything after this blog thingy. I have to give this blog site up, sorry, because of the other things in my life. But I won’t give up nor drop dead my online profile here in Friendster. Sorry. Hehehehehe, ok I’m kidding… But I’m pretty serious on me making this my first and last blog entry here in Friendster.

So naturally I should present the alternatives, by enumerating my other blogging sites. But no, I cannot. Not publicly here, I mean. Some of you already knew my other blog sites, so I’m not preventing you from visiting me there. It’s just that… I have my personal reasons, I value my own privacy very much, and I anticipate some things I wrote that, if known, are teeny-weenie sensitive topics to few but important people in my life. So no, I’m not announcing what were those blog sites that I currently maintain. It’s sort of an invitation basis only. But to convince that I’m not really that egoistic as some might think, let me tell you an irony: if I knew you found me there in one of my other blog sites, I’ll invite you, like linking up my profile there with yours… (^_^(

So there, I did mention that this is an announcement. Just like an old friend I knew had said, see you later alligator. Have to get some shut-eye now, seeing that it’s tomorrow already, the morning just a few hours away.
